RV Nomads Motion Picture Partners With Boondockers Welcome

The RV Nomads Motion Picture Project Has Teamed Up With What Many Nomads View As The Uber For Boondockers

QUARTZSITE, AZ – Today Nomadic Life Films announced a new partnership between the film project and Boondockers Welcome, a service that provides a venue for RVers to connect with local people on their travels, while adding variety and options to their camping experiences. The Boondockers Welcome platform is described by many within the RVing community as an “Uber for boondockers” and is seen as a perfect fit for a film documenting the lives of full time RV Nomads.

The team behind Boondockers Welcome was enthusiastic about the new partnership and extremely supportive of the project. “It’s a great idea and the timing is right – with RV sales at record highs (and a shortage of enough campsites to accommodate them) the industry is at an important crossroads,” said Boondockers Welcome Founder Marianne Edwards. “We hope the film brings attention to the possibilities and realities of life on the road and the variety of reasons so many people in North America are choosing it.”

Edwards went on to say that “Movies often find a broader audience than a web site or youtube video. We already have some hosts who are not RVers themselves, but I’m not sure how they came across our web site the first time. Hopefully the film will introduce our service to others like them – those who want to host just for the opportunity to meet RVers and hear their stories.”

The Boondockers Welcome platform experience has been utilized by the RV Nomads crew and the team found it to be a wonderful experience. “We stayed with some amazing hosts in Texas thanks to Boondockers Welcome and were rather surprised with how unique and positive the entire experience can be,” said the film’s Producer Eric Odom. “We were made to feel at home and we did. Our hosts went out of their way to help us be comfortable, and even invited us to their home for a patio chat and viewing of a super moon in the starlit sky.”

The RV Nomads team now views Boondockers Welcome as an essential part of their travel planning resource list. The travel schedule for 2018 production of the film includes multiple stops with Boondockers Welcome hosts and organizers couldn’t be happier with the service the platform provides.

Edwards added that “Being on the road breeds kindness, generosity, and easy friendships among fellow travelers. It’s also a great equalizer – people aren’t measured by the size or cost of their RV when sitting around a campfire. These are facts that we presume the film will somehow convey. What could exemplify it better than RVers with a home base inviting travelers to visit them there – with no expectation of being paid in anything more than gratitude and a pay-it-forward spirit?”

“Many RVers see Boondockers welcome as a sort of Uber for boondockers,” said location/set director John Hebard. “It connects nomads with hosts, it provides a robust review/rating system so everyone involved has a good understanding of who they’ll be staying with or who will be staying at their home, and it generally makes the entire process as friendly as possible.”

The cast YouTube channels featured in the film include Less Junk < More Journey (67,000+ subscribers), RVLove (18,000+ subscribers), Drivin’ and Vibin’ (19,000 subscribers), Hebard’s Travels (3,500 subscribers), Audrey Callahan (2,600 subscribers) and the official RV Nomads crew with over 1,000 subscribers. The group also includes bloggers from Camp Addict, More Than A Wheelin and Always On Liberty.

The film, scheduled for premiere in October of 2018, documents the epic lifestyle of those living full time in recreational vehicles. The cast includes a wide range of backgrounds, all RVers who live and work full time on the open road. The films sponsors include Escapees RV Club, RV SnapPads, The RV Water Filter Store and is being produced by Nomadic Life Films.

NEWS ALERT: EPIC Nomad TV & Nomadic Life Films Announce Co-Director For The RV Nomads Feature Length Film Project Documenting The Full Time RV Movement

Tom Morton From “Mortons On The Move” To Co-Direct RV Nomads Film And Take On Role Of Cinematographer For 2018 Production Schedule

CONTACT: Julie Bennett

(TUCSON, AZ) – Today EPIC Nomad TV and Nomadic Life Films announced the signing of YouTuber and full time nomad Tom Morton to Co-Direct the RV Nomads feature length film scheduled for premiere in fall of 2018. Morton will join the production crew in Silverton Colorado in late May and will help lead the project through the primary production schedule in the summer of 2018.

The RV Nomads motion picture is being created as a story built on a hybrid style foundation that combines the elements of a documentary with the entertainment value of an action/adventure film. The project aims to fully detail the epic true story of how hundreds of thousands of people are unplugging from a traditional way of living in favor of minimalist digital nomadism through living in recreational vehicles. The cast includes RVing YouTubers such as RVLove, Less Junk < More Journey, Exploring The Local Life, Drivin’ and Vibin’, Hebard’s Travels and, of course, Mortons On The Move.

Tom and his wife Caitlin have a long established presence in the full time RV community. The nomadic couple live in a fifth wheel RV and document their journeys on a popular YouTube channel called “Mortons On The Move.” They also co-manage the “Road Gear Reviews” YouTube channel. Morton is a certified drone operator and manages a company specializing high end aerial cinematography (Windtrap Digital).

“Tom Morton brings a wealth of experience to the table. His understanding of recreational vehicles, the RV Life and what it takes to capture it all in film is extraordinary,” said RV Nomads Producer Eric Odom. “He’s an incredible asset to the team, to the project and to the overall story behind the film.”

Julie Bennett, EPIC Nomad TV’s Director of Communications, said Tom Morton is an important piece of the puzzle because of his authentic, organic roots in the RV community. “Tom has lived and breathed the nomadic lifestyle for years now and his perspective of what it all means, what drives it and what it takes to project an accurate depiction of the story is paramount to the film’s success,” said Bennett.

“I am very excited to have this opportunity to be involved with this movie. I have wanted to work on a feature film for a long time and now getting to be part of a film about a lifestyle of which I am a part and passionate about is incredibly exciting,” said Morton. ” I would like to see this film provide a true narrative of what the full time RV movement is like and how it has impacted those involved with it. In addition I hope we can shed light on the greater story of the reasons behind the major lifestyle changes many of the cast and individuals in this movement make.”

He went on to say “Through the filming of this movie I am going to be traveling and living with the cast and crew, sharing bonfires, meals, adventures and misadventures on the road. As co-director I look forward to using the camera to capture these nomads’ stories and piece them together into one epic story to share with the world. I hope this movie inspires others to take a chance, find adventure and live life on your own terms.”

The RV Nomads movie is set to premiere in the fall of 2018. More information can be found at

NEWS ALERT: RV Nomads Partners With RV SnapPad For 2018 Film Project

SnapPad Joins RV Nomad Film Project As Sponsor Of Movie Depicting The True Story of The Full Time RV Movement

CONTACT: Julie Bennett

(TUCSON, AZ)RV SnapPad (Origen RV Accessories, LTD.), a brand on the leading edge of innovation in the RV industry, has joined forces with Nomadic Life Films and EPIC Nomad TV with a new partnership in support of the RV Nomads film project. SnapPad’s products are a new approach to solving some of the most common RV leveling issues. Leveling issues that a vast majority of RVers experience at some point in their travels. SnapPad’s support of the film will provide much-needed financial foundation and helps ensure the cinematic experience of the overall RV Nomads story is top notch.

“Once we heard about the RV Nomads project we knew we wanted to be involved,” said VP of Operations Devon Wilson. “Eric and the RV Nomads team will be the first to shed some light on what’s fast becoming the new American dream.”

RV SnapPad is financially supporting the film and contributed multiple sets of its flagship product for the production company’s 2018 kick-off $10,000 giveaway. The contest, currently running at, will have more than 75 winners with a wide range of prizes announced later in January as part of the film project’s marketing campaign. Five sets of RV SnapPads will be given away as part of the contest.

“We’re very excited to team up with SnapPad,” said Producer Eric Odom. “Several of our cast members already use SnapPad’s innovative leveling jack enhancements and the brand is a fantastic organic fit for our line up of industry supporters.”

RV Nomads is a feature length movie being produced with a premiere schedule targeting late October of 2018. The movie features full-time RVing YouTubers such as RVLove, Less Junk < More Journey, Exploring The Local Life, Drivin’ and Vibin’, Hebard’s Travels and Mortons On The Move. The story arc follows the cast as they venture out on the open road, living where they choose, when they choose and how they want to live. The narrative explores a cultural shift away from the traditional version of the American Dream in exchange for one focusing on minimalism, the freedom to travel at will and more personal independence while living intentionally.

RV Nomads is a joint project of EPIC Nomad TV, Nomadic Life Films and Square House Creative.

What Are We Getting Away From?

Getaways. We all want them, right? In fact, it’s often said we all need them.

The vast majority of society is constantly in need of a vacation. It’s a common theme at the water cooler. It gets discussed in the break room. It’s what can be heard in busy business lobbies upon clocking out. When greeted on the way to or from work the “I need a vacation” phrase is used almost as a default social proclamation.

I need to get away.

But get away from what? From work? Is that really all? Not really.

Are You An RVer? Then Get In Here And Read This!!!

Nomadic Life Films and the team behind RV Nomads – The Movie have worked countless hours preparing for this announcement. We had to keep quiet as we awaited approval on venues and worked our way through the mountain of logistics necessary to make it all happen.

But today is the day we can finally say it. NomadFEST 2018 is a go!!!

Indeed, in October of 2018 hundreds of RVers will converge in Wellington, Texas for four nights of camping, a massive rally with a BBQ and concert, a full day of RVer film screenings, the world premiere of the RV Nomads movie and a content creator conference.

All jam packed into a single event being billed as the maiden annual NomadFEST.

There are a lot of details to discuss and we’ll get to those shortly. But first we want to give major props to our platinum sponsor for NomadFEST 2018. We always want to give credit where credit is due, and this event would not be possible without our partners at Escapees and Xscapers. Escapees is, without a doubt in our view, the top club for RVers and what they provide for the RV community is second to none.

We very much look forward to working with them as partners on this event and we’re forever grateful for their support in bringing this vision to reality.

Now let’s get to the details!
